Anju Sawni, MD, FAAP

Anju Sawni, MD, FAAP, is an assistant professor at Wayne State University's School of Medicine. Dr. Sawni specializes in adolescent medicine and complementary/alternative medicine. She earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, Montserrat, West Indies, and completed her residency at Children's Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Sawni completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine from North Shore Hospital, Cornell University. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Sawni belongs to the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Society for Adolescent Medicine, the Michigan Association for Indian Physicians and the American Holistic Medical Association.
